Jeremy Vickers - lead Pastor

Reverend Jeremy Vickers joined Grace UMC on June 27, 2004. Jeremy was mentored by Bob Farr, GUMC founding pastor, and has always wanted to "have a chance at Grace". He received his Bachelors of Philosophy and Religion from Southwestern College in 1996 and his Master of Divinity from St. Paul School of Theology in 2000. Jeremy has served as the Associate Pastor at Harrisonville UMC, and as Pastor at Epworth UMC and Goodwill Chapel UMC in Sedalia. He was ordained in 2003. Grace UMC is thrilled to welcome Reverend Jeremy Vickers to our family.

BS in Business and Computer Science from Baker University in 1984. MBA from Rockhurst in 1987. Teacher certification from CMSU 1994. Sonshine Preschool Director from 1998-2002

Sharon Owen - Music Director

Sharon is originally from Joplin, Missouri. She received a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from SBU, a Masters from PSU in Choral Conducting and a Specialist Degree in Administration from UMKC. She taught high school choral for 21 years, served as a music evangelist with her brother for several years and currently acts as Assistant Principal at Ray-Pec High School. Not only is Sharon an amazing Choir Director, but she is also an accomplished musician and vocalist. She has had 3 pieces published including "Jesus Paid It All" which includes piano, strings and voice as well as many other pieces that she has not officially published but shares with the congregation at Grace.

Grace UMC Welcomes The Reverend Hubert Neth 08-07-2010 Beginning July 1st, Rev Hubert Neth joined the pastoral staff of Grace UMC. Hubert will be leading the 815 am traditional worship service and help out with our numerous ministries. Hubert and Barbara have lived in the Lee's Summit and Kansas City area for many years. Join us as we welcome Hubert and Barbara to Grace UMC.

Join Us in Worship This Weekend 26-05-2009 Are you looking for a welcoming and joy-filled congregation to worship with on Sundays? Well you found it. Grace UMC is a multi-generational mix of new and seasoned Christ followers. We have three worship services. Our early service (8:00 am) is an intimate and small chapel service that has a more traditional flavor. Our 9:15 and 10:30 am services are a mix of contemporary and blended worship.
